A COLOURFUL array of more than 300 paintings and photographs from youngsters greeted visitors to the Sid Valley Horticultural Show last weekend. Thanks to an award from the Sid Vale Association Keith Owen Fund, the images and artwork were displayed in exhibition stands. Maureen Britton, chairman of the Sid Valley Horticultural Society, said "The work used to be pegged to an old tennis net, but these stands are much better to view them, so we are most grateful for the award." The show was another success with over 100 different classes of exhibits including high quality flowers, fruit, vegetables and crafts being displayed.
