THE author of two new Jurassic Coast books will be signing copies in Sidmouth next month.
THE author of two new Jurassic Coast books will be signing copies in Sidmouth next month.
Robert Westwood, who has written 'Walking the East Jurassic Coast - Portland to Studland' and 'Walking the West Jurassic Coast - Orcombe Point to The Fleet', will be coming to the town on Thursday, June 10.
The books, published by Coastal Publishing, are comprehensive guides for walkers of all ages and abilities and feature new aerial photography showing the route of each walk.
Mr Westwood, who hosts guided walks along the Jurassic Coast of Purbeck, said: "I am passionate about explaining geology in simple yet meaningful ways - a little understanding of the processes that have shaped this beautiful coastline can make a visit or a walk along it so much more enjoyable."
The guides, which are on sale now, are endorsed by the Jurassic Coast Trust and some of the proceeds will help to support the World Heritage Site.
