An eight-year-old bookworm has joined a growing list of youngsters to complete a literary challenge to read 100 books.
Oska was presented with a certificate from Sidmouth Library for completing the Book Track scheme.
The challenge is aimed at encouraging youngsters aged six and above to read 100 books and discuss it with staff. As well as the certificate, Oska also received a badge for achieving the target.
Carol Pentacost, library supervisor at the Blackmore Drive site, said: “He’s done really well. He loves reading, he’s completed some quite challenging books and his little brother is now doing the Book Track challenge to and following in his footsteps.
“They have both completed our summer reading challenge which encouraged youngsters to read six books during the holidays.”
