Sidmouth Lifeboat received its first call-out of the year on Valentine’s Day.
The crew was tasked with rescuing a dog that had fallen from the cliff top near Otterton ledge yesterday (Sunday) at 1.20pm.
The dog was seen running around at the foot of the cliff, which is only accessible from the sea.
The crew was launched and proceeded to swim into the shore before returning the dog to its owner.
