Waitrose token scheme gives £160 to Sidmouth Day Care Nursery

LITTLE ones at Sidmouth Day Care Nursery in All Saints Road, welcomed a special guest to their All Saints Road premises on Tuesday.

Margaret Edwards-Hughes, marketing coordinator from Waitrose, Stowford Rise, was there to present a cheque for £160 to Karin Persson, nursery team leader.

The money was raised through the store’s green token scheme to raise money for community projects voted on by customers.

The nursery is desperately seeking new premises to move into where it has open play space for the children to use.
