Sidmouth observatory hosts astronomy fair

THERE will be a chance to visit the Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth, next month at the South West Astronomy Fair on Saturday, August 8, from 9am to 6pm.

THERE will be a chance to visit the Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth, next month at the South West Astronomy Fair on Saturday, August 8, from 9am to 6pm.

It provides the chance to attend first-class lectures by leading astronomers and see the latest astronomical equipment.

Planetarium presentations and telescope dome tours will take place throughout the day and refreshments are also available.

Entry: £5 adults, £2.50 for those under 18. Lectures are £4 each per person.
