SIDMOUTH Oxfam shop is looking for volunteers to help launch a new on-line shopping website.

The shopping website, which is non-bidding, is a national initiative but will only operate from a few shops in the country, including Sidmouth.

Nina Lewin, manager of Sidmouth Oxfam, said: "We need volunteers who are willing to work a couple of hours a week. The job involves listing, photographing and packing goods and any volunteers will be given full training."

Nina said before the Sidmouth branch of the website can be set up 1,000 items need to be listed.

She added: "It will be good experience for people who are returning to work and need to learn computer skills.

"We receive a lot of donations from kind people and by setting up this website we can put the money to good use."

If you are interested in volunteering please call into the Oxfam shop on Temple Street or ring (01395) 578927.
