Sidmouth PCSO trains as police officer

Sidmouth police have wished a former colleague well as he trains as an officer.

Alex Powe worked as a police community support officer (PCSO) in the town for six years, and is now working to be a police officer.

PCSO Steve Blanchford-Cox said: “He’s training as a proper police officer – we wish him well.”

Alex’s position will be filled in July.
