A SIDMOUTH pensioner is on the lookout for a helping hand in her bid to boost residents in a town nursing home with music.
Cora Slade, 77, of Riverside, visits husband Don at Sidmouth Nursing Home in Winslade Road every day.
She wants or organise a weekly ‘sing song’ session there to benefit residents and hopes budding musicians might join her.
Cora’s husband Don, 77, is partially paralysed and suffers from Parkinsons Disease.
“Don loves to sing, It will benefit everybody there,” said Cora.
“The nursing home is delighted and waiting for it to happen.
“I’m looking for a keyboard player or anybody who plays anything.”
Cora thanked owners of and staff at the Swann Inn pub who were “so helpful” to Don when he enjoyed a special night out with friends on January 21.
She added anyone who might be able to help with her ‘sing song’ bid can contact Sidmouth Nursing Home on (01395) 514 172.
