POLICE are appealing for information after a bike worth �500 was stolen from Sidmouth this week.
The customised orange Vindek unisex town cruiser had been chained to the railings at the Esplanade on Monday at 11.30pm.
When the owner returned at 9am the following day, the chain had been cut and the bike was missing.
A police spokesman said: "The bike had been built over the years by its owner. Anyone who has been offered this bike for sale or has any information should contact us."
