SINCE April, Sidmouth Police has been running Op Piva to target underage drinking and anti-social driving.

Neighbourhood beat manager PC Steve Lemon, who will report on the May statistics at Monday's town council meeting, said: "I believe that so far it has been a great success.

"As well as dealing with anti-social behaviour and underage drinking, we have also been targeting anti-social driving.

"This week four lucky owners of vehicles will be receiving letters ordering them to identify who was driving said cars at a particular time/date as a possible prosecution is pending."

This relates to anti-social driving incidents in and around Sidmouth.
