Sidmouth Primary School has announced it will remain closed tomorrow.

In a message to parents, Claire Fegan, head of teaching and learning, said a decision had been taken to keep all of the Federation sites closed for Friday, March 2.

She said: “As you know we closed today because of risks associated with snow and ice, and the prospect for overnight and tomorrow is worse.

“We are communicating this with you early to enable everyone to make plans for tomorrow. We do apologise for the inconvenience however Devon is now included in the Red weather alert, and it is only sensible that these precautions are taken.”
