Sidmouth pupils dress up for World Book Day

THERE wasn t a school uniform in sight at St John s School, Sidmouth, on World Book Day last Thursday, when pupils and staff dressed in their favourite book characters costume for the event.

THERE wasn't a school uniform in sight at St John's School, Sidmouth, on World Book Day last Thursday, when pupils and staff dressed in their favourite book characters costume for the event.

For one Year One tutor group the decision of who to dress up as was easy. With only seven in the group teacher Katie Mazurek was transformed into Snow White, while her pupils became the seven dwarfs.

Even head teacher Angela Parry-Davies joined in the fun.
