A GROUP of Territorial Army volunteer soldiers of the 6th Battalion Rifles, Weymouth, will take part in a weekend sponsored walk from Exmouth, along the coast, through Sidmouth to Weymouth, tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
A GROUP of Territorial Army volunteer soldiers of the 6th Battalion Rifles, Weymouth, will take part in a weekend sponsored walk from Exmouth, along the coast, through Sidmouth to Weymouth, tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
Called the Clock to Clock Walk, between Queen Victoria's Jubilee clock in Exmouth, to a sister clock in Weymouth, Rifleman Luke Dulaic is leading the group to raise funds for the Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes and the Rifles own Benevolent Fund.
They will leave Exmouth at 6am, reaching Sidmouth at around 9.45am, where members of Sidmouth branch of the RBL will provide water and fruit to help them on their way.
Following the Jurassic Coast path, not roads - apart from a diversion from the path at Sidmouth - the walkers will pass through Seaton at 3.15pm, arriving in Lyme Regis at 6.30pm where they will spend the night before setting off on the final leg to Weymouth on Sunday.
