SIDMOUTH will mark Remembrance Day with a series of Royal British Legion (RBL) events across the parish next month.
The traditional march from High Street to Sidmouth’s war memorial, organised by the town’s RBL branch, and the laying of wreaths will take place from 10.40am on Sunday, November 13. A service will then take place at the parish church.
The Sidbury and Sidford Branch of the RBL has announced that a service of remembrance with Sidbury Primary School will be held in the churchyard of St Giles at 10.45am on Friday, November 11.
A parade will take place from Sidbury’s war memorial at 10.45am on November 13. A service at St Giles Church will follow. A service of remembrance at St Peter’s Church, Sidford, will also take place on that Sunday.
