BREAKING NEWS: Homeowners move to save properties from toppling into sea
SIDMOUTH residents have revealed of a �900,000 coastal protection scheme they hope will stop their homes falling into the sea.
Cliff Road homeowners say their gardens are receding by 13feet a year and today (Tuesday) handed in a planning application for a five-meter high rock revetment to halt erosion of the town’s East Cliff.
Blueprints for the 210-meter-long granite retaining wall were handed to East Devon District Council at 12.30pm this afternoon.
