The 2019 Sidmouth Squadron Air Training Corps (ATC) attended a special church service on Sunday, February 7, to commemorate 75 years of the RAF Air Cadets.

The organisation formed in 1941 and is made up of the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force.

The youth organisation provides the opportunity for cadets aged from 12 to 16 to take part in local, county and nationwide activities.

Cadets can also work towards academic and outdoor qualifications, including Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

The 2019 ATC Sidmouth squadron is currently recruiting cadets and adult volunteers.
