AN alternative to Hallowe en party for more than 20 children took place on Saturday at All Saints Church hall, Sidmouth.
AN alternative to Hallowe'en party for more than 20 children took place on Saturday at All Saints Church hall, Sidmouth.
Run by curate, the Reverend Dave Brown, children from all churches and in the community enjoyed games, food and music and took part in a fancy dress contest, which attracted pirates and princesses rather than witches and ghosts.
A similar party was held at Emmanuel Church from 4-5.30pm on Friday, where, besides a free tea, children enjoyed crafts and playing games, including on a Wii. and a bouncy castle.
