FolkWeek festival director recognises support of Sidmouth residents Mark and Tony
TWO Sidmouth residents were made Cultural Champions of Sidmouth FolkWeek by the festival director John Braithwaite last week.
Tony Reed, FolkWeek chairman, (pictured right) and hotelier Mark Seward, received certificates before the start of the festival welcome concert.
Both described it as a “great honour” to be recognised this way. Mr Seward has done much to get the business community behind FolkWeek, while Mr Reed has been one of the driving forces to keep the festival running during the past five years.
