Sidmouth's low on crime

CRIME statistics in Sidmouth continue to be low, with local police attending 198 incidents during May.

CRIME statistics in Sidmouth continue to be low, with local police attending 198 incidents during May.

The greatest number of these involved the theft from or damage to cars and bicycles around the area.

Five other offences of theft were reported, along with two offences of criminal damage.

There were two house burglaries in Sidmouth and three non-dwelling burglaries.

One offence of violence was also recorded.
