Sidmouth’s tribute to the armed forces

Sidmouth will pay tribute to the armed services with a special service on Saturday, June 24.
Dave O’Connor, chairman of the town’s branch of the Royal British Legion, said a procession with form outside Co-op in High Street at 11.30am before stepping off at 11.45am.
Sidmouth Town Band will lead the procession to The Ham for a drum head service, which will be led by the Reverend Robert Chavner.
The event is the same day as Armed Forces Day but will be called ‘Sidmouth’s tribute to the armed forces’ so all ages feel involved.
