SIDMOUTH firefighters used a ladder to help rescue a seagull trapped in wiring on top of a two-storey residential home in the town on Thursday.

SIDMOUTH firefighters used a ladder to help rescue a seagull trapped in wiring on top of a two-storey residential home in the town on Thursday.

The seagull was left in the care of the RSPCA.
