The Sidmouth association is holding a community seat cleaning day in The Byes from 2-5pm on Saturday, April 4.

If you can help; and those under nine must bring an adult with them, Sylvia Brownlee has more information and can be contacted on (01395) 514011.

You will need to take a bucket, scrubbing brush, rubber gloves and meet at the entrance to The Byes by the Tollgate in Salcombe Road where instructions will be given.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits will be served to volunteers at the Guide headquarters, Lawn Vista, during the afternoon as a reward for their hard efforts.
