A Second World War veteran from Sidmouth was joined by friends and family for his 101st birthday last Tuesday.
East Ham-born Joe Daniels marked the occasion at the conservative club and said: “It all went very well.”
The Lymebourne Park resident was invited to Buckingham Palace for his last birthday, accompanied by Dave O’Connor from the Royal British Legion.
