A charity exhibition has opened showing casing the best work of artists from across Sidmouth.

Sidmouth Society of Artists is exhibiting their work until July 18 at Kennaway House.

Exmouth Town Crier, Roger Bourgein attended the opening today (July 5) to announce the event was open.

The group has chosen the Admiral Nurse Campaign as its cause of the year and will be raising money through raffles and other activities.

Members of the public are encouraged to come along and vote for their favourite painting in the exhibit.

A prize will then be presented to the winning artist.
