Sidmouth solar event to shed light on energy bill savings
SIDMOUTH residents can find out if solar power could cut down high energy bills at a special event next week.
SIDMOUTH residents can find out if solar power could cut down high energy bills at a special event next week.
The Sid Valley Energy Action Group (SVEAG) has organised an information evening on Thursday (September 24) in the All Saints' Hall at 7pm.
Visitors are invited to find out the "real costs" and benefits of using solar power and SVEAG members will bring along their own bill to fuel the discussion.
Renewable energy expert Andrew Honey of Microgeneration, a member of the Devon and Cornwall Business Council, will introduce the evening.

Local suppliers with satisfied Sidmouth customers will be on hand to discuss actual prices, possible discounts and opportunities for cash grants.
