REDUCING fuel costs through solar energy is the topic of an information evening in Sidmouth next week.
The event, hosted by the Sid Valley Energy Action Group, will take place at All Saint's Hall from 7pm.
In the first of a series of investigations into practical aspects of alternative energy supply, two group members will be bringing along their own bills as evidence.
The event will be introduced by Andy Honey of Microgeneration and local suppliers will be on hand to discuss prices, grants and possible discounts.
Representatives include Nu-heat, Abacus Renewable Energy, Dual Solar Solutions, Naturalwatt, Renewable Power Green Generators and Sungiftsolar.
There will be information on grants and possible discounts. The event is free but donations are welcome.
