A SIDMOUTH woman's bid to re-unite a missing cat with its owners has revealed a sad spate of missing moggies in the town.
Bowd Court resident Inez Dann appealed to Herald readers last week after a "well-fed" black cat climbed through her window.
By Monday, Mrs Dann had received twenty phone-calls from distraught residents, hoping the cat was their missing pet. Some callers said their cat had been missing for six months.
"It's shocking," said Mrs Dann, "I've had callers from Stowford Rise to the Salcombe Cliffs."
