Community market this Saturday heads planned events for autumn by Sidmouth’s Vision Group
THE Vision Group for Sidmouth (VGS) is hosting a diverse range of public events in September and October.
Sidmouth community market on Saturday, September 10 at St John’s Ambulance Hall in Blackmore Drive, from 9.30 am – 1 pm, will provide an opportunity for local producers to display and sell food and crafts to the public, writes Charlie Lister.
The market will be at the same place and time on October 8, November 12 and December 3.
Sid Valley Energy Action Group (SVEAG) will be at the Anchor Inn on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 pm. SVEAG raises public awareness of energy efficiency and assists the community in reducing its carbon footprint.

A Futures forum at The Kingswood and Devoran Hotel on Monday, September 26, at 3.15 pm, will discuss the future development of the Sid Valley.
A talk on the future of energy will be given at the Norman Lockyer Observatory on Saturday, October 29, at 6.30 pm.
