AFTER SLIPPING off rocks into the sea several times as he made his way towards Ladram Bay, Sidmouth, on Sunday afternoon, a man managed to get ashore safely, while emergency services looked on.
AFTER SLIPPING off rocks into the sea several times as he made his way towards Ladram Bay, Sidmouth, on Sunday afternoon, a man managed to get ashore safely, while emergency services looked on.
Those on board the vessel Megabyte alerted Portland Coastguard at 3.48pm, when they saw the swimmer's progress on the rocks.
He was kept under observation until he reached safety and met by Sidmouth Coastguard rescue officers and crew from Sidmouth Lifeboat, who passed on safety advice and confirmed he needed no medical attention.
