A Sidmouth teenager had to be cut free from a car after a two vehicle smash in Stowford Rise.
The incident which took place about 1.50pm on Sunday (May 29) near Waitrose involved a Volkswagen Golf and MG ZR 105.
Two fire engines were called and on arrival found an 18-year-old man tapped in the MG by a door which had been pushed in. Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and release the teenager. He was then taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with neck pain.
A police spokeswoman said the other driver, also from Sidmouth, had been reported for an alleged driving offence.
