Appletree Pre-School youngsters support Children’s Trust charity

EIGHTEEN children from Appletree Pre-School, Manstone Avenue, Sidmouth, came to school in their pyjamas last Friday to raise money for the Children’s Trust charity.

This was the first time such an event had been held at the pre-school and the children raised £44 for the charity, which provides care and education for disabled and sick children around the UK.

“We wanted to encourage children to help other children, which is of course a very important life lesson,” said Kerin Hamill, manageress of the pre-school. “It was a very successful event, and we definitely intend to do it again.”

Vacancies are available at the preschool now. Anyone interested should contact Mrs Hamill on 01395 577233 and come and join in the fun!
