Sidmouth Trefoil Guild celebrates its 60th birthday with cream tea

THE floral shield display at Sidmouth’s Three Cornered Plot has been devoted to mark the Girl Guide Association’s centenary year.

A prominent blue Trefoil is included in the display and is apt as this year marks the 60th birthday of Sidmouth Trefoil Guild.

Members, led by Grace Essex, (foreground) walked down to admire the design after celebrating their ‘birthday’ with a cream tea at the Westcliffe Hotel.

The Trefoil Guild is made up of former guiders and others connected with guiding, and offers support to local guiding organisations.
