Mr Hughes said: "I am delighted to support the stirling work that is carried out by the Sidmouth Twinning Circle in putting such a wide variety of events and visits together for our visitors from our twin town in Switzerland.

"The 25th Anniversary is a notable landmark in twinning both here in Sidmouth and Le Locle and many friendships have been forged during those 25 years.
