Proud pet owners presented their pooches for a dog show as Sidmouth Veterinary Practice celebrated its belated second birthday.

Receptionist Debbie Snelgrove said the weather turned just in time for a lovely event, with dancing dogs from Paws to Dance and a popular barbecue.

The day raised just under £300, which will be split between Dogs for Adoption and the Cats Protection League.

Debbie said: “We had a lot of fun here and quite a busy time – there were lots of really lovely loyal customers and a few new ones as well.

“We had eight classes in the dog show, with some lovely entrants and worthy winners.”
