The annual isolation scheme at a Sidmouth supermarket gave a festive boost to three good causes.
Waitrose gave a trolley of food to the Sid Valley Food Bank, plus a cash donation of £250.
Sidmouth Voluntary Services, the town’s Christmas Day community lunch and the Christmas lunch for the elderly in Newton Poppleford and Harpford were each awarded a share of £1,000.
Waitrose runs its isolation campaign every October and is aimed at supporting charities and events that bring people together.
