Sidmouth wheelchair user confronted by youth - police seek witnesses

WITNESSES, particularly an elderly man in a red car, to an incident that took place in Woolbrook Road, Sidmouth, earlier this month, are being sought by Honiton CID.

WITNESSES, particularly an elderly man in a red car, to an incident that took place in Woolbrook Road, Sidmouth, earlier this month, are being sought by Honiton CID.

DC Vicky Grimwood is appealing for witnesses to come forward if they saw an altercation between a woman in an electric wheelchair and a young man, who confronted her, at Woolbrook Road's junction with Bennetts Hill, between 4pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, August 5.

Following the incident the young man walked away laughing and police are anxious to identify him.
