Sidmouth woman's sponsored walk raises £233 for autism charity

A SPONSORED walk from Sidmouth to Budleigh Salterton on Sunday raised £233 for the National Autisitc Society.

A SPONSORED walk from Sidmouth to Budleigh Salterton on Sunday raised £233 for the National Autisitc Society.

Fortfield Mews resident Sasha Harrison, 39, whose ten-year-old son Brendan is autistic, was joined by family and friends for the seven mile trek and was delighted with the amount raised.

Generous supporters helped the group, who donned special t-shirts for the day, raise £220, with passers by on the walk chipping in a further £13.
