Care home residents hand over knitted blanket to Rainbow Project for Romanian orphans
RESIDENTS and staff of a Sidmouth care home in Glen Road handed over a blanket made of 60 knitted squares to the Plymouth Rainbow Project last Monday, writes Rufus Baker-Morris.
Following an idea by Fourways resident Margaret Pope (fourth left, standing), residents made up the squares and the blanket, which was embroidered with the word Fourways by Maraget Perrigo, will be sent to children in a Romanian orphanage by the Plymouth charity.
