SIDMOUTH Woolworths will close on Tuesday, December 30, together with the Seaton branch.
It will be the end of an era for the East Devon stores, which in recent weeks have seen a flurry of customers seeking bargains as they holds closing down sales in each shop.
A spokeswoman for joint administrators, Deloitte, said she was unable to comment on what will happen to the Sidmouth site.
Meanwhile Woolworths staff in St Ives, Cornwall, will enjoy a free Christmas party, thanks to the generosity of the town's Porthminster Hotel.
