VOLUNTEERS are urgently needed to help out at The Arches youth caf� when it opens next month.
The Sidmouth Youth Trust hopes to welcome its first customers to the caf� by Saturday, June 12 and every weekend then on plus extra days in the summer holidays.
It is appealing for volunteers aged over 18 to help run the youth project.
They will initially be required to work two hour shifts on Saturdays between 5 and 9pm, and Sundays between 4 and 8pm, with the possibility of extra shifts during the summer break. They will work alongside another volunteer or appointed youth worker.

The Arches is open to anyone aged 13 to 19 living in the Sidmouth area and they can sign up for free.
Alfie Weaver, of the trust, said: "We plan for this to be a nice space for young people with a fun, relaxed atmosphere, where there will always be someone to talk to!"
