Councillors rebuked over lack of support for Sidmouth Youth Council car wash
CAR washing by members of Sidmouth Youth Council at a recent coffee morning has raised �100.
“Not one member of the town council, apart from myself, came to it,” Ann Liverton told fellow town councillors at their June meeting last week.
“They worked so hard doing car washes at �2.50 a time and got through so many cars. They did very well.”
She said they also “enthusiastically” made cakes for the coffee morning.
