Ottery Pantomime is going to fly!

Come and follow the tale of Sinbad the Sailor as he returns from his overseas adventure, only to be sent away again by the Caliph on a mission to try and replenish his fortune - frittered away by his extravagant wife Caliphornia.

Sinbad has to evade the villains - Kashan Kari and his side-kick Bari - who are owners of a magic flying carpet; deal with Zola the Gorgon and his mother the Widow Windbag.

Will he triumph and bring back riches to fill the Caliph’s coffers?

Will Sinbad find love? Will Widow Windbag entrap a new husband?

Ottery Community Theatre’s annual pantomime promises lots of fun with everything you would expect from a traditional show - corny jokes, familiar songs, singing and dancing.

There are clever ‘special effects’, live musicians and wonderful costumes which will all add to the enjoyment of each performance.

Sinbad the Sailor is at The Institute, Ottery St Mary from January 20-23.

It has been written by Gryff Loydd and Laurie Palmer and is starring Florence Squire as Sinbad, Mark Reader as the Dame and Martin Redfern and Jacob Franks as the villains. They are joined by a strong cast of young actors. Tickets (£6.50 for adults, £4 under 18s) are available from Ottery Post Office.

If you need more than 10 tickets, phone 01404 814545.
