Reported crime in Sidmouth was down marginally last month compared to November 2015.
Police logged 21 incidents, including two cases of violence with injury and six of violence without injury.
Sergeant Andy Squires told town councillors on Monday that there were also two ‘other’ thefts, five incidents of criminal damage, one possession of a weapon and one possession of drugs.
Police responded to three vehicle offences, which were mainly attempted break-ins. Such attempts remain common in Sidmouth’s beauty spot car parks, even over winter.
There were 23 reported crimes in November 2015.
