Sidmouth county councillor aids residents trapped by snow
STOP PRESS: While he remains trapped in Exmouth this week, trying to get the 157 bus back on the road to return to Sidmouth, Devon County Councillor Stuart Hughes, a DJ on BayFM Radio, has organised a snow plough and gritter to clear residential roads in Sidmouth today, Wednesday.
Those areas being cleared include Higher Brook Meadow; Drakes Ave, Malden estate; Primley/Coulsdon/Livonia; Manstone Ave/Ashley Cres/Woolbrook Meadows; Barn Hayes/Core Hill; Higher Woolbrook Park; Woolbrook Park/Balfours; Peaslands Rd (cars permitted); Broadway/Bickwell; Cotmaton, Glen Rd; Manor Rd; Victoria Rd/Glebelands/Sidlands; Hillside Road; Salcombe Hill Rd and The Triangle.

Grit Bins that have been reported as empty are also being filled today.
