SIDMOUTH Society of Artists is staging its annual open air charity exhibition on Saturday, August 28.
The exhibition will take place in the town’s Connaught Gardens from 10am to 4pm. Up to 40 society members will exhibit paintings, prints and cards. There will be a raffle for an original painting, donated by Margaret Adams, winner of last year’s Marion Ovens Award.
All sales commissions from the paintings and proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Sidmouth Hospiscare, the society’s chosen charity for 2010.
All the money raised from this exhibition together with proceeds from a coffee morning, to be held in October, will be presented to a Sidmouth Hospiscare representative at that time.
