Nine-year-old Sophie has become withdrawn, and needs a loving owner who will give her a happy life

Having been in care at Axhayes Cats Protection Adoption Centre for 11 months, she needs to move into a real home and live a normal life.

“She’s become withdrawn. She’s been in care too long,” said deputy manager Jackie Phipp. “She needs an understanding owner who will help her come out of her shell.”

Sophie was originally brought in because she could not get on with other cats in her previous home. She needs to be the only pet in a household with no small children.

She would benefit from having the space to run around and get some exercise. Sophie was overweight when she was brought in, and has been on a diet ever since.

“She’s a bit frustrated at being cooped up,” said Jackie. “She needs a garden area where she can run around, and lounge in the sun.”

If you would like to offer Sophie a home, contact Axhayes Adoption Centre on 01395 232 377.
