An actor turned teacher is promising ‘supportive, friendly and unpretentious’ sessions when he launches a drama group for over-18s in Sidmouth.
Steve Horne founded Kalla Adult Theatre and is offering a free taster session for anyone interested in enhancing their performance skills.
His credentials include training at the prestigious Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, touring in regional theatre and teaching drama for more than 20 years.
Steve, who has recently moved to Sidmouth, said: “There will be no singing and no dancing – just drama.
“There will be a range of drama games, exercises and explorations and the group will eventually create performance work – when the group is ready to, that is!
“It is ideal for building confidence, making new friends, learning new skills and enhancing acting and performance skills for those that have some experience.
“The atmosphere will be supportive, friendly and unpretentious.”
Steve will set a time and location for the taster session when enough people have signed up at www.kalla-arts.com.
