CHARITY THANKS: Sidmouth Help Link raised more than £250 with a street collection last Thursday, October 6. The voluntary services charity, based in Mill Street, offers assistance to elderly people and carers in the Sidmouth area. Trustee Joan Shaw said: “Our grateful thanks to all who collected and those who gave so generously. The money raised is used locally to fund our premises in Mill Street, our co-ordinator and her assistants. Do come and visit the centre and see the good work that goes on there.” More information about Sidmouth Help Link can be found at www.sidmouthhelplink.org.uk.
