SIDMOUTH firefighters have sparked a sell-out by pledging to go the full monty next Friday to help a marathon running mum raise cash for the NSPCC.
Crew members from the town will strip off during a special routine as part of a fundraising fashion show at Stowford Community Centre – and 160 ladies have already snapped up every ticket.
The event has been organised by hairdresser Becky Robson, 41, of Malvern Road, who will tackle her fourth London Marathon in April.
Becky, who owns The Hair Temple, wants to raise at least 2,000 for the NSPCC. She said: “I think the firefighters, and topless waiters, have helped us sell out. I’m not sure if any men – apart from them - are going.”
The Hair Temple has teamed up with clothes shop, Polka, to stage the fashion show.
